hey jerome one question i have make a new landscape but when im importing it into the game, the game crashes the whole time.
The landscape in the right folder, But when i'm changing location the game crashes. When i'm trying to copy the material file into the right folder the game crashes when I#m starting the game

PS: I'm only using white shapes for landscapes no clolour or other textures

Hi,
do you have any feedback from ogre when the game crashes?
The problem seems to be related to your material file, could you perhaps post it?

no their is no feedback from ogre but i;m thinking it has something to do with the material file there is only a short text because i'mm not using any specific texture, so its only

The material does not seem to be the problem, works here; what about your loc file, could you post it too?

but works fine with landscape1

and the game waont start when i copy the material file into the scripts folder otherwise the game crashes when travelling to the new spot

so it seems to be your mesh having a problem. Could you send it per email?

ok i will send you per e-mail but this mesh could be totaly wrong becaue these are my first tries with blender and now i'm always getting python errors in blender :D

i'm sending you a private message with the download link. But i have changed the custom location1 and renamed the mesh to lost-island.mesh but still there is the material and it still won't start. If you want you could correct my mesh ;-)

Yes, the game throws an exception when trying to load your mesh here too. Apparently the format does not seem valid, did you use the tools I uploaded?

yes off course first I exported the file as an mesh.xml and converted it with the ogre command line tool to mesh

because I cannot convert back to xml running "ogrexmlconverter hindeloopen.mesh hindeloopen.xml". Can you run this?

no no idea why but tomorrow i will try again i have to sleep now :wink:

hopefully tomorrow this will be a better mesh file
