Problems with location

Post by surfsenne » Thu Jul 14, 2011 10:23 pm

hi guys
some problems appeared when i was creating my location.
1. My background isn't transparent but its a png image. What to do?
2. How to create a new shorebreak?
3. how to export an animation to a .vert file?

thanks!
Senne

For transparency, use png with an alpha layer. Then, use a material that activates the transparency, e.g.:

material island20
{
technique
{
pass
{
ambient 1 1 1
diffuse 1 1 1
scene_blend alpha_blend
specular 0 0 0 1 10
alpha_rejection greater_equal 170

texture_unit
{
texture_alias 0
texture island_20.png
tex_address_mode clamp clamp
}
}

}

}

For a new shorebreak, you have to create a flat mesh, the game animates it automatically.
:wink:
